Where to buy a TV Lifter

Hi there we are in the final stages of building a Schionning GForce 17C in Victoria Australia. We are trying to source a slimline TV Lifter and power switch to operate the lifter. For those that aren't familiar with them, they allow your TV to be stored under a bench or in a cupboard hidden until you require it. the power source elevates the TV on to your bench top. The ones we have been able to source are quite expensive $1500 upwards, very heavy and appear to be more suited to wider TV's rather than the new LED TV screens available today.
Any suggestions where we might get one from. Thanks in advance.

Re: Where to buy a TV Lifter

Lots of plans online of how to build them with a low cost linear actuator. Even if you didn't do it yourself, bringing the instructions to a welder would yield a lower cost and better built unit.
