All summer I've been working on my
boat, but at a marina. So bringing the
dogs to shore involved a
dock. And sometimes, I'd go live in a dirt
boat... Er house. I largely tramped around in bare feet, or sandals.
Now I've been cruising for just a hot minute, a little over two weeks. Still always barefoot on the boat, sandals for shore. But I've traded beaches for docks and no more dirt
boats. That means more than once a day I'm probably standing in
water to beach or launch a boat. In that time though, my calluses seem to be sloughing off, hands and feet. I treat with moisturizer every 24-48 hours. Did this happen to anyone else when you started full time cruising?
