A whale thrusted from the waters off the coast of Australia over the weekend and came crashing down on top of a small fishing boat, critically injuring an 18-year-old man and his 39-year-old stepfather.

Nick Myhill suffered severe head and neck injuries [he’s in a coma] in the freak incident Sunday in the Tasman Sea, off Narooma, on the southern coast of New South Wales, according to reports.

Another tragedy involving an animal just being itself around human beings. I doubt the "white whale" hypothesis. Just a whale being a whale. They leap, they land, and this time someone gets hurt.

(I need a blue water boat, with forward looking sonar and crash bulkheads for containers, and a sky shield for whales, and possibly a second (get home) engine. In fact there is at least one white humpback whale that has been cruising up the east coast of Australia the past 10 or so years. It has been named Migaloo. So far this year it does not seem to have been sighted.
