Seriously, I would love to see confirmation on this or is it is just more fake news.

Ah, the name, was just quoting the OP, don't want to over complicate things.

White House Press Secretary Sean Spicer retweeted The Onion's satirical video about him, leaving some social media users confused.

Gotcha, so he didn't say anything, he just posted a quote from the Onion. Your above quote explains it perfectly.

The whole thing sounds sophomoric. Can we get back to boats?

Re: well here's a problem that I may never have.

I got a mate with a bunch of boats all over the shop. they all leak a bit too much. I think it's either due to his hoarding disorder and they were all going free to good home. Or perhaps he just wants a reason to go back to all those beautiful places and none of the boats are in any condition to get him there

Says more about the "real news" outlets than about the Onion or the press secretary.

You, my friend, have very succinctly described the entire US political scene.

My boat, and talking about boats and sailing, is the only thing keeping me sane in these sophomoric times!

Sorry he did not quote the onion. He tweeted "You nailed it" to the ONIONS quote of "Sean Spicer’s role in the Trump administration will be to provide the American public with robust and clearly articulated misinformation".

Me thinks he missed the mis in misinformation.

Luckily spring is just about here and we can all enjoy our boats again. At least in the northern hemisphere...

I was just marveling at the fact that I have been able to enjoy several boats here in Mexico without owning them. Win win

I think that is the best thing I've read all day!

Re: well here's a problem that I may never have.

I remove my sombrero to any person with more than one boat. You are a better man than I Ganga Din! Or perhaps a glutton for punishment? I have but one boat, and the maintenance and improvements have kept me busy for 2 years I have owned it. It kind of reminds me of mending fences on the ranch. By the time I come around, it is time to start all over again. Then there is the illegal fishing nets, nortes, chubascos, huracanes, and last but not least, my friendly bird at the top of the mast (am I allowed to say "pooping") all over. Is that what is known as a poop deck? I have placed wire spikes, a special glue, even threatened to borrow the 50 caliber from my navy neighbors, to no avail! I would probably shoot the whole top of the mast off, and he would land on what was left.

Re: well here's a problem that I may never have.

I remember meeting some liveaboard cruisers in the Florida Keys. I think their boats were called "Book ends". They had one boat in the Keys for winters and their other boat in the Great Lakes for summers.
