Weather Report L&V

I read the weather report by Chris Parker daily. I do not understand an abbreviation: "L&V" for example: "Jumentos-Acklins-Mayaguana: L&V mostly N-ENE today" I have tried several searches on the internet without success. Can someone tell me what L&V means?
Thank you!

L & V means Light and Variable Winds.
