Sad news and a big loss to the community. My son and I had enjoyed our visit there last year during the lighted boat parade.

This is NOT Capital Yacht Club. Rather, it is the clubhouse of the District Yacht Club which is located up the Anacostia River a ways.

Still, sad thing, but at least no boats were reported damaged.
