I just discovered lube oil in the cooling system
It filled expanshion tank , heat exchanger and thruout
the cooling system.
Has anyone had. this experience or ideas ? Thank you in advance. Bruce

Probably a head gasket.check for water in crank case oil.

Yeah, probably head gasket. HOPE it's a head gasket. Otherwise your block is possibly toast. How old is the engine? What do the zincs look like? Changing them periodically?

The boat had been on the hard for 9 mths with a good flush piror to that. The oil in coolant occured the next day after launch. The mechanic thought it was gearcase cover because of fresh water pump plumbed inside cover. But looks fine . Next is head gasket. Thanks for input.
