- Pulled into an anchorage last night - everyone was anchored properly - Nothing to complain about so I left

- 2015 Sailing Safety Report - 138 boats sail into storms - No on pushes EPIRB - Coast Guard lays off 10,000 sailors, pilots and rescue divers - President issues tax refund


- My Marina - No one messes with my docklines, halyards or fenders - Great Wifi, service and dockhands do free pump out - No crappy looking liveaboards or powerboats - Boring as hell - Anyone know of a crappier marina I can move to?


- Went to the boatshow - Decided on the unaffordable boat I want and won't buy - No help needed


- Saved up enough money to retire and go cruising - No financial advice needed


- Cost of cruising = $0 - I live by the dumpsters in San Pedro

I think my compass has reverse polarity!

Why does my compass always point to where the wind is coming from?

So I took ASA100 and rented a boat and went out to sea. It got dark and I went to anchor for the night, but when I lowered the anchor all the chain ran out. How do I get it back?
