Tips for young marine restoring tartan 33r.

Hello everyone! I just recently acquired a 1982 tartan 33r in decently crappy shape but sound. I ve been cruising/liveaboard most of my life and work on boats for a livivng sl in fairly decent with boat repairs but always looking for new advice.
My father is a master carpenter/woodworker whick will be great when re doing the galley. Im currently repairing blisters on the hu and plan to take the boat down south from annapolis to the keys/bahamas within the next year, and im looking for some advice and tips for how i should redo the galley. Basically tearing it down to bare fiberglass. Thank you!

May I suggest you join the Tartan group on Yahoo? There are a fair number of T-33 owners there. Not sure how many have the deep keel "R" variant. But worth joining.

Regarding your question on the galley? I like the layout in my 33'.

Re: Tips for young marine restoring tartan 33r.

Snore,

Could you please post a pic of your galley?

A lot for the OP will depend on how much he likes to cook, and how far he wants to cruise beyond the Bahamas. Will it be lifestyle cruising, or coastal with a vacation, but mostly local.....

Thanks in advance.

Ann
