Ah, yes Raspsody..our nemeses, beat us by 21 minutes...so close! That race was a wild wet ride. Our crews brand new inflateable PFD went off while he was at the helm :-). Told my husband I required a dodger after that run!!

Yep, good times. A few banged up bodies on our crew, just bumps and bruises, and one black eye.
We are heading back to the Bahamas in a few weeks. Y'all hold down the fort there in Texas. We'll make it back someday.

Re: TEXAS Harvest Moon Regatta 2013
Now looks a little wet, but 2-3 foot seas is sweet. The wind is forecast to be 10-15 Out of the north, then switch around to SE Sunday night when everyone starts to head back.
Be safe, wear your harness, with the flooding there might be some debris as you move along to Port A, keep eye out for those darn unlit rigs, and the monster fishing boats are lit up bright so hard to see the nav lights and they haul butt. Don't get run down . If you haven't made the approach to port A before, be extra careful, it can be very deceiving. People have been caught on the wrong ( north) side of the jetties.
Ok, mother hen is done with her advice. See y'all soon.
