Re: Sympathy Posts Accepted

sorry to be the bearer of bad news, but you'll only get sympathy from this mob if you performed your own appendectomy while hove to in a hurricane in the middle of the atlantic.

LOLZ

Have a speedy recovery. Being cut on is never fun.
I had my gall bladder out last summer and ever since I have had a desire to go sailing. Chemical imbalance I guess.

I wish that would have worked for my wife.

Funny, I just went sailing on my laser for the first time after recuperating from a 2 year bout of orthopedic problems. ... Just last Sunday!

...your own appendectomy while hove to in a hurricane in the middle of the atlantic.

On the way to the hospital we got stuck at THREE traffic lights. Does that count?

Re: Sympathy Posts Accepted

I'm recovered from abdominal surgery done in December, so I sympathize.
wishing you a speedy recovery. Is it just me or are the doctors and nurses looking like they are barely out of elementary school these days?

Did they let you take your apendix???????????????

Cos I have a great recipe!

Ingredients
  • 1/4 cup sweet paprika
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 1 Tbsp black pepper
  • 1 Tbsp garlic powder
  • 2 teaspoons cumin
  • 2 teaspoons salt
  • 2 teaspoons cayenne
  • 1 teaspoon dry mustard
  • 1/2 teaspoon celery seed
  • 1/2 teaspoon dried oregano
  • appendix. as many as you can get.
Method
1 Mix all the dry ingredients together. Rub them all over the apendix and, if you have time, set them in the fridge overnight.
2 Cook low and slow in the oven.
