Surveyor on north shore of Lake Huron?

Anyone know of a marine surveyor, retired or otherwise, operating between Sault Ste. Marie and Sudbury, on the North Channel?
I found a couple in northern Michigan, but apparently the customs boys won't allow them to come into Canada to do a survey. I understand the protectionist concept, but in this case there are no Canadian surveyors to protect!
So, even a retired surveyor living in the region would work - anyone know of any?
