Support this global racer

I hope you will support Josh Kali in his solo race around the world in a 19' (580 class) sailboat. He did an incredible job building the boat: loads of well-conceived ideas, thoughtful engineering, all beautifully constructed and finished.

When he was in town recently, preparing for the race, he spoke at a local high school, inspiring kids to dream big. He's making the world a better place, and I happily donated to his campaign.

Very cool race!

The Vendée Globe comes to an end and we can watch another exciting solo race.

Good luck to all of them.

Re: Support this global racer

I met Josh and toured his boat today while it was at our towndock in Oriental, NC. He will be going to Beaufort, NC tomorrow and off across the Gulf Stream on Tuesday and then south to Antigua. He claims to have a good weather window. I Wish him good luck.

Re: Support this global racer

Hi Misssherry! I'm in Oriental too, but was out of town for a week. Our town could have done better with the weather! Must have been a little shocking for Josh to find his boat covered in 6" of snow.

Of course it will not be the last bit of less than wonderful weather on his upcoming trip.
