Superbowl & Cruisers
Just wondering what you cruisers are doing for the Superbowl. What are you doing as to the party part of the game? Going ashore or putting up a TV signal somehow to watch on the boat. Going to the big party on the superyatch in the harbor? If in some far away place what's the local snacks? etc etc.
And if you are a football (not that kickball type) fan and can not watch the game because of your location; are you going a little crazy or is the view of the beach worth it?

Re: Superbowl & cruisers
I'm not a big sports fan, but I usually watch the Super Bowl and other high profile sporting final events. I enjoy watching motorsports, however.
I'm hanging out at the dock and have cable. Today I'm going to go for a bike ride on a 8 mile trail along the bayou that I haven't explored yet. Then this evening watch the game on my boat.
All by myself, as usual.

Why is that? What would Boston have to do with the superbowl?
As you may guess, I'm not that much of a sports fan. Plan to go work on the boat but my wife will be glued to the TV. If I get home before it ends I will be subjected to the spectacle, regardless of my interest or lack thereof.
PS
Is Minnesota in the game? That's the only team logo I could find in the emoticons.

Re: Superbowl & cruisers
My wife is a big Pats fan having gone to Maine Maritime and then MIT. (I'm a big Dolphins fan so there is always conflict during football season!) We're just tied up dockside, we're making hot wings, jalapeno poppers, chips, salsa, guac, etc.
Oh, and perhaps a beer or two...

Re: Superbowl & cruisers
We took a slip at North Palm Beach for the day. I know who's playing,-'just don't care who wins! Nancie, for some unexplained reason wants to watch the commercials. We're just relaxing in the air conditioning and doing the eating celebration that seems to go with the day. I'll probably be asleep before the game ends and early off to Fort Lauderdale in the morning!

Re: Superbowl & cruisers
I'm going with the Pats on this one but it should be a great game, either way. Watching at the pub. No tv on the bateau
