The rest of us declined to comment on it for fear it might have sent you into yet another tailspin and a rant.............

I was going to correct it during the editing of the shemozzle but figured that the spelling might have been part of the gag.

Crabby, I think that I'm likely as old as anyone on the forum, and I was told that I was well educated... and my comment, ex the poll, is :WTF???
I have some doubt that your pop quiz has any bearing on the changes in cruising etiquette and practices... you know, those things that Boatie was talking about.

I got it. It's not cruising per se, but it is about changing etiquette and practices. It's the contrast between the gentile 19th Century picnickers and the distopian characters from Clockwork Orange.

You may be as old and as wise, if not more so, than anybody Jim. But are you as "out there" strangeness wise? Sometimes that is what it needs to understand some stuff on here.

"But are you as "out there" strangeness wise?"
Crikeys, Coops, I hope not! I'm just a boat bum, not a bleeding philosopher!
And I did recognize the pointillistic style, and I did read Clockwork Orange, but didn't get the CO ref from the p icture... and I still say WTF?
Guess I'm a looser!

Re: Sunday in the Park with Goerge and Malcom
You read Clockwork Orange, I just saw the film, that makes you a bleeding academic in my eyes, never mind a bleeding philosopher. Me, I'm just a bleeding nuisance, just ask anybody that has had a pm from me.

Ah yes, but deep down you know, not only in a previous post did I correctly identify the actual artist, the original artist and the inserted foursome. I refrained on ethical and moral grounds from inciting my friend BC from an apopolyptic meltdown regarding this sensitive matter. One in which, Im afraid he has demonstrated a remarkable lack of tolerance for.
Not to mention, our dear mod coops may have found it necessary to remonstrate with BC and chastise him politely and then remove the ensuing posts which no long contain WTF! and went straight to F!.
So we are all agreed then? Guinness is a great beer?
