Snow in my cockpit!

So I woke up yesterday morn and took a peek outside and I see this(pic below), needless to say I pretty much just stayed inside and waited for Boaty to post! It's not shocking to see snow this time of year but I've seen too much already! I'm gonna sun dance now....

I try to get a handle on the tip but I usually get the shaft. (Explaining a ski pole)

Re: Snow in my cockpit!

I've seen that before but maybe in the 80s while I was in Bremerton, WA. Pretty warm here.
Hope you see some sun soon.

Coldest winter here in years. two days above freezing from mid December to mid March. many days below freezing. Snow piles many feet high. 4 feet deep along my driveway. You are a bunch of babies.

Wow, yeah it does. Prolly feels about as welcome as one too.

I can't sympathize much, today was one of the first days in months my cockpit DIDN'T have snow in it, and it's been covered. There's nothing quite like waking up in the morning, having a cup of coffee, get ready for work and stand face to face with a 3' snow drift (or dalek) instead of a cockpit.

please let it be summer soon.....

Re: Snow in my cockpit!

I'm in southern Virginia in a small town on the Rappahannock. We're supposedly going to get snow AGAIN around Tuesday.

I was in the local supermarket the other day and the woman in front of me in line at the check-out looked to be a zillion years old. She was b!itching to the cashier how this was the worst winter (in this town of 600) that she could ever remember. It has snowed a half dozen times and every time the whole town freaks out, saying this never happens. Unusual times. Must have something to do with...I dunno.
