Fiberglass or rigging work??? Fiberglass you need to start with Cracker Boy in West Palm, or HarbourTowne in Lauderdale. Sailboat rigging you may need to go to St Petersburg or Charleston

Re: shipyard in Fort Lauderdale

If you need fiberglass/painting we highly recommend All Points Boats at the Lauderdale Marine Center. Ask for Jerry Clark. Expensive but top shelf. If you go up the New River under your own power, be sure to do it on an outgoing tide!

Thanks to all.

More informations:
Our boat has a break below the waterline. This will be patched before transport. We need a new mast. Many windows need to be replaced. The solar carrier is damaged. There are countless small damages on deck in gelcoat and teak. All the electronics on the mast are gone incl. radar, VHF

Sounds like you have a wreck on your hands, and you want everything repaired in Fort Lauderdale, the most expensive town to fix boats on the US East Coast..

If you have time, try to re-think and re-schedule this project.
Find a sleepy town with a low-cost boat yard and get it all it done for half price.

Re: shipyard in Fort Lauderdale

Are you insured? Your boat sounds like it is totaled. Even if you're not insured you'll be spending more to fix it - at least in Ft Lauderdale - than the boat is worth. I had one two-foot hole from a severe piling rub/pounding at my hull-to- deck area and the repair bill was $57,000.
