Re: Share Some Age Progression Pictures

The Tahoe Special, which at $85K is a steal with its Corvette engine except for this "small" issue......

On January 21 2011 the Tahoe Special struck debris while landing on Shasta
Lake. The right float, and the right wing were damaged in the accident. The right
passenger door and the nose door were damaged when the aircraft was towed
in . The aircraft sunk in 40 feet of water but was recovered with no additional
damage. The engine was not running when the aircraft sunk and it has been torn
down to the extent necessary, cleaned and inspected. It is running perfectly and
the compression is the same as when it was installed new. The GM engine
analyzer shows no faults.
The propeller was sent to Precision Propeller, disassembled, inspected and
necessary parts and seals replaced. It has been signed off as inspected and ......

Well, as you can see, it will require some work to get it back to its earlier condition, which with the 405 hp engine and reduction gear transplant was one great Seabee with A/C no less. I'll miss seeing it at Tahoe.

Re: Share Some Age Progression Pictures

Still can't figure out how I post pictures, so if this works..

http://db.tt/O0CsghlI

Me with my brother and sister. I'm in the middle, Hawaii, lived more in the water than on land.

http://db.tt/YCQQ4XHM

Me, 19 years old, crewing and hitchhiking aboard sailboats. I think this is the British Virgin Islands or the Bahamas ( don't laugh at the fanny pack, that was my luggage )

http://db.tt/asSUXFtj

Me at 38. I'm the one red faced and laughing ( my friend just embarrassed me). A bunch of nurses having fun.

http://db.tt/si0A82sI

Me at 40 after my brain surgery, death warmed over was the look of the day .

Cheers,
Erika

Erika, allow me, as I think this thread is a lot of fun.

I know there is more out there, as you see, if problems posting, someone will come along and get them up.

Re: Share Some Age Progression Pictures

I always dress like that. Actually it was for a Viking Age re-enactment.
