Sailing Clubs in Upper Chesapeake

I am looking for a club to join so I can get some time on the water. I don't own a boat. Ideally I'd like to join a club with a small fleet for member use that also has the opportunities to crew on larger vessels.

I live in Dover DE, but would be interested in anything from Northeast Maryland down to Annapolis.

I've been searching through Chesapeake Bay Yacht Club Association's lists (CBYCA), but many of the clubs don't have a strong web presence or access is limited to members. I also am a little intimidated about cold calling them as I am a bit intimidated I don't even know the right questions to ask.

Any guidance you can provide is greatly appreciated.
