Hi all. I was just wunderring how maney of you out there had there first expirriance of sailing on a sail training boat or work in the sail training industry?
I work as mate for the Cirdan Sailing Trust aboard Duet wich we recon must be the longest serving sail training vessel in the UK fleet and for such a small yacht it allways amazes me how maney people come upto us in port saying they sailed on her X maney years ago.

Re: Sail Training

Aloha,

It's good to hear from someone in the sail training business. The boats I learned sailing on are, I'm certain, long gone. They were large wooden gaff rigged sloops on Lake Chiemsee in Germany in the early '70s.

I taught sailing on production fiberglass sloops so never experienced what you have.

kind regards,
