Sad News

hi everyone,

Remember Gil McWhirter in Luperon, the very affable canadian expatriate that lived there for years? he operated with his partner, Jose, Luperon yacht and property sales...Gil died last week after a series of strokes...leaving his wife Ady and 2 teenage boys...he was only 72....Gil sold me my boat...i only heard 2 days ago and am greatly saddened he left us so soon...when i visited i would bring him a bottle of Fireball, the cinnamon flavored whiskey, unavailable in the D.R....he called it his medicine...i miss him..peace, john
