Run Into Any CruisersForum Folks?
I was hopping a dock behind Marine Exchange in San Diego and I ran into my first CruisersForum member. Torqeedo, I think? Nice guy, super tall!
Today my family and I were outside the Starbucks in Ensenada, Mexico picking up some whole bean coffee before going further south and ran into sww914 ( Landfall Voyages ) sitting out on the front deck.
So that's two in a month for me.

So far I've run into three members. I've seen Stumble at the yacht club. One member is across the dock and another member on the same dock as us. They're everywhere!

Yes, have met several over the years. Some by chance and some by design. Have sailed with a few too. Always a pleasure.

Re: Run Into Any CruisersForum Folks?
I was on a charter in Culebra last year when a boat whose name sounded familiar picked up a nearby mooring. I did not have internet service but, when I got home I realized he was a member of CF that's why his boat's name sounded familiar.
I've also gotten in touch with a fellow CF person who is wintering nearby and we may get together over the winter for dinner or drinks.
I have also been on my boat relaxing at anchor when another boat sailed by and the fellow shouted "are you the guy who pulled out his diesel and put in electric propulsion" I said yeah and he gave me the thumbs up. It is a small world made even small thanks to the Internet.

Re: Run Into Any CruisersForum Folks?
I was in Falmouth and Jersey this summer, in both cases for the better part of a week. I deeply regret not having looked up either Atoll or DOJ! I just didn't think of it -- brain f*art. Maybe next year.
I've met Pete7 and Sarafina -- great people.
I anchored several days near Kenomac -- in fact made a failed attempt to anchor right next to his gorgeous Oyster 53 -- but only discovered afterwards that he's a forumite! Admired his boat but didn't meet. That was in Havalet Bay, Guernsey.

I've met several now too, mostly to help out (for free) with projects.
Speaking of free boats, this one could use a representative to find a proper new owner, though it's a US boat-
