Pt Louis, Vanuatu... Really nice guy but I'm damned if I remember his CF name..
Wotname... Perth, W.A. rode to the rescue in his White Van Man superhero role and saved me from the Witch of the West... along with Tim Cocks who I've elected as a Honorary CF'r..
And I've delivered a few boats for members who are not so active and I never did learn their CF names... others became members..
As for the CF pennant.. it flutters proudly at the yardarm 24/7 whichever boat I'm on...
Figure its only fair I give folks a chance to get the hell away...
Another couple and you get a free one to keep .

Bunch of them,

There is an "Exit Strategy" moored a little ways off my stern, here in Gallows bay St. Croix. Will try check later if they are the same folks with that user name here.

It is a small world.

What a lovely thing to say!

I've met lots of people and must say have enjoyed the distinct ability for CF folks not to argue anchors, composting toilets or keel/no keels... In fact when meeting them in real life they are just like normal people!
Some can even sing.... Like Dan in Singapore. Ok we were drunk and karaoke has low expectations

As for a list of who I have met, ummmmm I don't remember most people and haven't jotted them down... But Rick off Breathless (Vasco). Gretchen, of course, and a whole flock of people in the Caribbean and Bahamas.
But I haven't bumped into anyone in St Martin this trip, so if anyone is here, or coming here in the next few weeks do drop by.

Re: Run Into Any CruisersForum Folks?

I went sailing on Lake Norman a few days back and saw a Pearson 28 with 3 folks on board and they were having a fine time even if the wind was blowing 25-30 mph and they had a lot of sail up...A few weeks before I saw that a CF member had a Pearson 28 and he said that he sailed on LN so I assume it was him,I was sailing with alot of sail also but had a few slides give way and I dropped my sail and motored around for a few hours.. Was that you I saw in the P28 CF member?
