My little Aquarius Pilot
Cutter survived
Hurricane Irma Cat 4 on a floating
dock In
Key West before I purchased her but did sustain some damage. Her rub rails and gunnel were rubbed through to the decking in places some 3’-5’ worth and a hole rubbed through her
hull on the port side. She has a shoe-box
deck to
hull joint. Looking for
advice on the best way to
repair her for blue-water
service. Was thinking about glassing
deck to Hull and building up the gunnel about 4” forward of the
cockpit. Any knowledgeable folk out there with suggestions are greatly appreciated.
Anyone with experience having a composting
head on board love to hear what you think of yours. Looking to change out to add fresh
water tankage instead of hauling sewage around. Not sure if it’s a good idea or not.
