Re: RIP Wolfenzee (David)
anyone, anytime, anywhere.
It will happen some day. Go fulfill your dreams while you can. You never know when it will end.
I really hope his family is doing well, all things considered. He will be missed by many on and off line. I chatted with him briefly in the past on Sailnet chat. Good guy.

Very sad. Agree with others -- it's a reminder that we never know how far we are from the end of the candle, so enjoy the glow while it lasts!

Re: RIP Wolfenzee (David)
Hi - Bob Perry (unable to post here) asked that his condolences be extended to David and his family. Over on Sailnet, Bob and others engaged in a lengthy debate about Wolfee's love for his classic William Atkin design and how it could be improved (without loosing its classic lines) through the the application of evolving design principals. If you are interested:

Peace to David and his friends and family.

Re: RIP Wolfenzee (David)
I don't like to learn of such sad things... We can't avoid them and each time it hurts the same. My deepest heartfelt sympathies to those who knew and loved him. They will miss him most... but have been rewarded most by knowing and loving him.
RIP mate... your work is done...

Re: RIP Wolfenzee (David)
David may not have made it south but he was living the dream like most of us.
"May the road rise up to meet you.
May the wind always be at your back.
May the sun shine warm upon your face,
and rains fall soft upon your fields.
And until we meet again,
May God hold you in the palm of His hand".

Re: RIP Wolfenzee (David)
Tragic news! 'Wolfee' was a great guy to trade barbs and experiences with about the PNW. I never met him but have fond memories of his posts on CF... go gently into the night, my friend... condolences to his family... Phil

Re: RIP Wolfenzee (David)
I never knew Wolfee in person, but I knew him here on CF, and liked his posts and his personality. We're all a bit poorer now, having lost him. Sail on, my friend.

Re: RIP Wolfenzee (David)
I am very saddened by this news. I had PM'd him on sailnet, and he promptly responded and even offered a day sail to me. I had planned on taking him with me up to look at the Penobscot Qouddy I had been drooling over that was up there.
I'll really miss him.
