Renting a sailboat or cat for a winter?

Hi Everyone,

Searching through the web, all I can find is expensive charter operations. I was thinking of perhaps finding someone who would eventually rent out for a whole winter. Has this been done before, if so, what's the best way to find such offerings? Will be looking for +/- 40 ft sailboat or cat with a certain level of equipment (not a broken down one).

Thanks!

Yan
