Refurbish 73 Morgan 41 O/I

Hi, I'm refurbishing this boat from bottom to top. Looking for a Bimini hard top instead of a soft top but debating if it's worth it? Also looking for a Krusin Kool A/C, diesel generator and davits for a 600 pound dingy. If you could give me a lead I'd really appreciate it. Docked in Florida. Thanks, Ole

Ole, I'm on your "sistership",- 1973 Morgan OI. I would enjoy sharing thoughts on any of your topics, but the one that strikes my interest is the 600lb dinghy. I have much heavy chain in my anchor locker and strong davits aft that I've reinforced with supportive shrouds from the top of my mizzen; however, I can't imagine a 600 pound dinghy. I switched from a standard Caribe to the light weight single floor model that weighs around 100 pounds. Why so heavy?
