Recommended marina in Marina Del Rey

Hi All, I am moving from SF to LA this fall. I am hoping to sail my Catalina 30 down the coast and am looking for a good marina in Marina Del Rey. I'm looking for:

1. Convenient parking for getting to/from the boat (I'll be living somewhere near UCLA)
2. Something relatively close to the Marina Del Rey entrance, so I can get out for a sail easily
3. Good facilities and a friendly environment

I do plan to visit this summer to get a sense of things, but right now I'm just trying to get a better understanding of what it's like. Any advice would be much appreciated! Thanks!
