Without knowing more details like brand of unit, error light indication or not, etc it's a guessing game. But the the No 1 and 2 problems are voltage issues getting to your unit. To rule this out before you go down any further rabbit holes run a temporary power cable directly from your ships battery to the refrigeratin unit.

I know...I know...I know...you checked it with a volt meter and you are seeing 12.3v, so it can't be your wiring. I hear that all the time, but the electronic control module is more sensitive than your volt meter and could be cutting the unit off to protect it. So before you waste time/money on other fixes, rule out that you have good power getting to the unit by running the temp wire and seeing what happens.

Report back with these results and more unit details and we can help you with the next trouble shooting step.

Re: fridge

I would go for low voltage. With a corroded connection somewhere, a multimeter will still read OKvoltage but when the compressor starts drawing 3-6 amps, the juice can't get through and so your voltage regulator signals low power and turns off the system. My fridge starts doing this at 11.9 volts but is OK at 12

If your unit is not a Cold Blue Technautics unit Email me with system manufactures name and Danfoss compressor or control module model number. With this information I will send you DIY simple repair instructions.

If your unit is a Cold Blue with off brand GD30 compressor Technautics is your only chance for getting it back in service.

But the good news is that with Technautics CoolBlue, tech support from the company owner/builder of the system is available by phone/Skype/text/email 7 days a week during all waking hours. I'd call that a much better "Chance" than many of the systems out there today without any real meaningful technical support avenue.
