Possible Value in a Members Survey ?

In the interests of just simply being interesting would it be possible to have an ongoing survey run on this forum where as volunteered members we log, say every three months or so, what we actually do? Nothing intrusive however i think it's a chance for a group to come to terms with many unanswered issues provided the data can be collected and used in a manner that is helpful to future discussions.
I have no idea how this could be done but i'm sure if deemed worthy there are many on this forum that could set it up :-
Basic Suggestion's...
1. Maybe its restricted to a sample of 50+ or so typical members?
2. Comprise of Multi's Mono's Motor and Sail.
3. Hours spent sailing?
4. Hours on pick.
5. Hours land-based.
6. Weather impacts.
7. Failures.
8. Successes.
9. Performance.
10.Dollars spent maintaining.

A census in some ways?
WHY? Actual data is helpful in decision making, settles disputes, setting budgets etc etc :

every 3 months just post the info you listed and invite others to do the same, the thread will run a while and die out, then 3 months later repost you current 3 months stuff and invite others to do the same...............repeat as needed
