position of fresh water intake on 1981 catalina 27
I am not sure of the position that the fresh water intake should be on 1981 catalina 27 ?

Do you mean the sea water inlet for the engine, or the potable water tank fill, or other?

sea water intake for engine position 1981 catalina 27
The sea water intake toggle is in the 12o'clock position currently. Is that the open position ? please advise

"Open" is when the valve handle is in line with the valve body.

Take the lid off of the strainer, if the valve is open and unobstructed, water will flow pretty profusely out of the strainer.
