Zee, if you haven't considered, you may want to
scope out some
hurricane holes, as the season is upon you. Just left Puerto Escondido (Sail Fest to La Paz), on the eastern side of
Baja, ten miles or so south of Loreto. It's a nice, very protected spot, with two little stores and two restaurants, both with good
food, are nearby. A diver named Ray will check out your
boat and the
mooring if you need it. A Singlar
mooring would run you about $240.00 USD/month, which puts you inside the cove. You can
anchor in "The Waiting Room," run by API, for a buck a day, but you're not as protected.
Also, haven't been there but reportedly nice is San Filipe; also
Bahia Concepcion might
work but you should get local knowledge.
