Great outcome.
How deep is the draft on that boat after all?

Re: Pitch In And Help
Great work and those involved extra hat tip to Steve (Knothead) all certainly got a lot of karma points. Also I think they did a great service for all cruisers by helping to resolve a problem that tainted cruisers coming through the Gulfport area. Now I only hope that Jay the boats owner lives up to his half of the bargain.

Great job everyone ! Well done! From all the posts, this shows that no matter where is this big world we may be, we are a community! Sailors will always come to the aid of another sailor. That is one of the reasons I sail. Could some one write up in how this physically done? We may need it in the future.

Re: Pitch In And Help
Would love to have someone post a narrative of the day's events. After removing 2 tons of Jay's stuff, how close was boat to floating? Did Jay's jaw break happen "on the job". In any event, my hats off to all who helped. The video doesn't do the effort any justice.

Re: Pitch In And Help
I am a lurker and a learner. Rarely post anything. I am not going to get into any of the the BS of Capt Jay. What is important is that there are folks willing to do this kind of help for your fellow man. My hat is off to all of you. What you people have done today ( and the days up to ) is to restore some of my faith in my fellow man.
