Our Community

Ahoy to all CFers,
I would like to thank this community for all the precious, interesting and often very entertaining threads and posts on this site.
I also want to encourage all the newbies (like me) to ask specific questions by pm to members they think they could help them (I guess most are more then willing to help).

My problem was that I had (have) my interest in a geographically far away object and I wasn't sure how to proceed without trowing a lot of time and money in to the wind.
After some spiritual in-fight with myself I finally found the courage to contact a member of this community who lives in this specific area.
Like a true gentleman and sailor he provided me with all the info I needed to make a trip worthwhile.
He welcomed me (us) like a true friend on to his boat and in to his family.

Thanks a whole bunch "HappyMdRSailor" for your time, your help and your hospitality.

And always a hand width of water under your keel !

Therefor thanks to CF

Martin

A toast to the community then!

It's not me, it's the like minded sailors, cruisers, and dreamers who make up our incorrigible lot... Others have helped me as I help...

I couldn't imagine the disappointment and discouragement of having wasted thousands of dollars, finding what you were hoping was a gem, was actually needing transport to the refuse dump...

So when in need... Simply ask... You might be shocked how cool we all are!
THANKS CF!

And now that you guys are developing a tolerance to them, and there were no adverse reactions...

Next time you're here... I'll double up the pre-made batch to 3 gallons...
