Odd private messages

Has anyone else received unsolicited private messages through the forum with links to what I believe are pornographic web sites? Does anyone know how to report such messages to forum administrators?

Yep, there is a PM spammer about ATM. Use the report post icon on the top RHS of the PM. It looks like a red triangle containing an exclamation mark.

Yes just rec'd one today. You can report it if your tag the red triangle in the message box (possibly top right corner).

Click the little red triangle at the top right of the message to report it to the mods.


I got it as well and have done so.





The mods will boot them off the forum in 3...2....

Not that message but i have received a couple nasty ones from trolls who were quickly kicked off.

For reporting, I know the usernames of a few of the mods so I simply forwarded the offending message. It would probably be sufficient to "report" yourself by clicking the Report Post button (red triangle with black exclamation mark) under your name in your post above, and they will contact you to follow up.


... and I can see that the A-team is already on it.

We had a slew of spammy registrations. These accounts have been banned now and we are mass deleting the Pms they sent with their accounts so that the links can't be clicked on.
