The new Sunbrella sacrificial strips on the head sails can just be seen as well:

So if I understand, it rolls up on each side of the boom and is stored there during sail?

Yes, it just rolls up and each roll is held in place with five pairs of velcro tabs. Because it rolls up rain and dirt can accumulate in the long groove, so I added a narrow flap each side which covers each roll and velcros to the flap on the other side creating a very neat protected package. A real improvement on the old design!

Thanks, I was really pleased with the finished product.
My stitching really improved towards the end and I have got the hang of sewing with Tenara now. I am ready to tackle lots more projects on board now - new companionway flap, tiller cover, hatch covers, instrument cover, cockpit cushion covers .......... Should spruce the boat up quite a bit .

Thanks, I was really pleased with the finished product.

Has anyone tried to upload pics to the sewing groups main photo album? I cannot, I believe it is because I have an iPad.

I looked at it out of curiosity. I can't even find the group from the CF app. Second it looks like the photos are linked rather than uploaded. It may be worth a question to the site admins though. I could only find the group from a web browser. In that the postin of pics wanted a link. I wold guess you could upload to your gallery and link it from there but that is several extra steps.

It seems they fixed the photo issue, hope no one is having difficulty posting, if so, let me know. It may take me a while to get back, life is kinda crazy. You can pm me too.

Still no luck posting photos in the sewing group from my iPad (no problems in the general forum).

Uploading them to photobucket and entering the URL of the image just resulted in a little blue box with a question mark - no photo.

Can you find he group from the forum app or are you accessing through a browser? I can't get to groups with the app as far as I can tell. If a browser hitch one? I'm also on a iPad for the most part.

I am accessing CF via Safari. I find that better than the app and nearly as easy to access (bookmarked).

I will try downloading the app again in a sec and having a play with it.

I have just downloaded the app again. I could not access any of the social groups (although I got distracted reading some of the threads in the social groups via Safari LOL).

Using the app, lots of sections are missing that can only be accessed via the dark green bar at the top when accessing the site via a browser (eg Vendors, FAQ, Community, as well as many features in User CP).

I will let admin know.
Also about the problem with downloading photos to social groups (it is not just the sewing one, I have tried the Bucketeers as well) using Safari on an iPad.
