Exclamation Need Matthew Help in Green Cove Springs, FL

Hi,

My boat sustained major damage in the storm. It doesn't have insurance because the interior wasn't complete (no one would insure it).

It's the orange catamaran at Green Cove Springs Marina.

I'm not there right now, but am being told I need immediate pictures of the damage because the marina's equipment failed and the damage is probably covered by their insurance (inadequate moorings).

Could someone please take pics of the orange catamaran at Green Cove Springs Marina in Green Cove Springs, FL?

It's in a pile of boats up against the seawall and still attached to its mooring.

I am willing to pay/hire someone to do so.

Please text me if you want to be paid for pics or just are nice enough to send pics.

Number is 6 4 6 6 3 4 --------- 8 6 8 6

Thank you!!!

Skipmac is there in GCS and you could send him amessage. But I seriously doubt the marina is going to cover this on their insurance.

Thank you. I'll try Skipmac.

I don't know how it works. I was just advised by another boater at the marina (who doesn't have a camera phone) that it may be covered under their insurance since their equipment is what failed.

Hi, David,

Good on ya for getting those pics. So far, looks like only cosmetic damage, good news for the owner.

Thank you for these additional pictures!

I'm proud of the (not so old) girl for standing up to all those hours of abuse with no deep structural issues.

Those are a bit more than cosmetic, but repairable without rebuilding any large sections of the boat. Looks deep enough that the rudders didn't get hit/bent as well. The rudder kickups didn't even release so there was probably no pressure on them.

Will be back to her in a couple days for a haul out and repair.

A huge, absolutely enormous thank you to SkipMac for helping me in many, many ways to deal with this mess. I owe him big.
