Need furler advice

I recently had to de-rig my forestay and jib/staysail roller furlers (Schaefer 2100's and yes I have two forestays) from my Shannon 38 cutter ketch in order to accommodate a haul out. The boat yard required that that I do this prior to the lift due to an unmovable beam on their travel lift. I had no problem removing them and they did not appear to be under excessive tension at the time.
Once repairs were made and I was hoisted back into the water I reattached the forestay with no problem, but I can't get the furlers re-attached. I'm about an inch (25mm) from aligning the toggle/clevis to the pulpit plate. I don't have enough adjustment in my mizzen backstays (triatic stay at top) to allow the main mast to rake forward enough to pull these down into alignment. The furler is bowing back high enough that I can't pull it straight contributing to the problem. I have tightened the forestay as much as I dare and this boat is rod rigged. Any suggestions or advice would be helpful. I'm sure there must be a way to do this without removing my standing rigging. Riggers in my area are in short supply and expensive. I've always had sloop rigs and have done this several times on those boats. This is my first ketch/cutter configured boat.
Any help or advice would be appreciated.
