Hi there - we are a
family of 4 (children ages 11 and 13). We are staying in
Grenada for a month and would really love to sail out for a couple of over-nighters to visit the islands north of here and to learn how to sail. My husband has crewed a
boat but I have only sailed little dinghies and my
kids are beginners. But we love the
water and are very comfortable in all kinds of boats. We were wondering if anyone is in harbour here or in Carriacou and would be willing to take this
family under their wing (or sail so to speak), teach us the ropes
, do a little bit of snorkling, beaching,
docking. Out and back for about 2-4 days depending on
price. FYI - my husband is a great cook! We have been traveling around the world for almost a year now but have yet to get on a sailboat (other than at our cottage in Canada)so this would be fun. Check out our blog at intrepidmom.ca.
