My Boat Looks Cold....

The weather is gonna warm up this week. I am gonna finish taking out the motor this week, and figure out if I will rebuild or replace.

Brrrrrr .... Although at least your boat is in the water. Up here we're still months away from soft water. Ice as far as the eye can see. Snow drifts around the boat, which is on the hard and under cover until at least mid-May.

I use to take my boats out in the winter, but the marina took them out in Oct. and put them back in June. Cheaper where i am now.

I hope "up here" means all that snow is going to melt & run into the Mississippi River.

I would love to send you some, but unfortunately this winter is turning out to be another in a long string of low precipitation years for us up here in the Lake Superior shores. The Big Lake is already low, so no! You can't have any.

Besides, other than the Chicago diversion, I don't think the Mississippi gets water from the Great Lakes Basin. Sorry...

Re: My Boat Looks Cold....

We have lots of snow and had lots of rain before the snow, but it all runs north from here. Sorry...
