Moving the mainsheet attachment to the transom

I have a 1979 O'Day 27 with a traveler in the middle of the cockpit. I have seen a number of pictures in which the mainsheet is attached to the transom and I know this was an original option. Unfortunately none of the pictures show the actual fitting on the transom for the mainsheet. Neither have I been successful in finding other O'Day 27 owners locally in the Niagara/Toronto area so I can go and take a look at their boats. Can any O'Day 27 owner help me with a picture or drawing of the proper transom fitting ?

I have a 73 ensenada 20 my main sheet is on the transom and works like this . Line starts at a starboard cleat through a double block on the boom through a port block back through the double block and to a block and cam cleat . Idk know if that helps you any
