Motor mounts

Finally moving to a new engine. I'm going from a Westerbeke W40 to a Volvo D2-40. According to the blueprints the rear mounts have a 3/8" difference in fore/aft location. I can fudge that on shaft location. My question is the Volvo mounts are 5" between the mounting holes to the bed. The Westerbeke motor mounts are 4" apart. The Westerbeke mounts are only 4 years old. Can I use the Westerbeke motor mounts? Anyone looking for a great running but leaky Westerbeke?

I would put that westerbeke up in its own thread. There was someone looking for a head and if not a replacement not too long ago.
