I don't know what's going on in the Solent this year -- stars must be mis-aligned.
A couple of months ago, we had a giant car carrier run intentionally aground on Bramble Bank, and left there listing at 45 degrees for almost a month before being floated off.
And now, during a gale, a tugboat in
Southampton Water has capsized and sunk, trapping a crewman inside. The crewman was rescued dramatically by one of his shipmates, who jumped into the 5 degrees
water to get thim. Both are alive and well and recovering, but sheesh! What's going on around here? Meanwhile the tug is on the bottom in the icy waters of Soton Water.
