That's what I heard, anyway...

Judging by his avatar, it could be very difficult to tell the difference!

Re: MarkJ Missing ?
What is MarkJ actually missing?
Besides some good posts here, it seems he's having a good time.
Regards,
Brad

There are two major brands of rum in Venezuela, Pampero and Classico. Both excellent. It's likely that he's researching which he prefers. If so, don't hold your breath. It's been 27 years since I visited and research is still ongoing.

Re: MarkJ Missing ?
I've told this story once before on the forum, but this seems a good time to repeat it.
I was once invited to by a friend to Rodney's birthday party, I didn't know Rodney, but it was one of those rare "open" type parties we occasioned in our youth. I went with my friend as he knew its way at the end of a jungle trail on Guam.
We arrived late at night to find somewhat over a hundred or so hard partying folks do well what hard partying folks do...loads of beer, loud music.......
I wanted to express my appreciation, so asked where Rodney was so that I might thank him and wish happy birthday. My mate told me that Rodny had moved off the island twenty years prior, but do to the popularity of him and his most excellent birthday parties the island folks still celebrated his birthday.
According to the response from the last time I posted this, his birthday is no longer celebrated, but that jungle trail had long since become a road....It had become "Rodney's birthday Party Rd"
