multihull community,
We are a
family of 4 (two girls aged 6 and 8) from The
Netherlands and we are taking a seabbatical next year (April - Dec 2018).
WE ARE LOOKING FOR A
BOAT.
For a while, we were looking to buy a
monohull (max 90K), but we realize this is a big headache -
buying and selling for just 9 months of sailing. Now we are looking for ways to rent a
boat for this period. Because of that, we might also be able to afford a
multihull (we cannot afford to buy one).
First choice is to sail Thailand/Malaysia/Indonesia; Second choice is
French Polynesia. At this point, we just want to find a safe and ready-to-sail boat, and location has become less important (but we do not want to sail the Caribbean).
Does anyone know where we could find a long term rental boat? Rental company to recommend? Personal boat owners with whom we could make a deal? Please let us know...
