leave sailing,now i motoring.

Leave sailing, today i am sell my last sailboat for now. this extremely hot summer is the main reason. I am sick I operated on pankreas head adenocarcinoma cancer 12 years ago and survived. my wife also sick.
life is short I am not interested in exploring world anymore. i buy Neptunus 56 fly
20 kw generator 2x 24000 chiller boat is huge, good condition.ex owner die in 2020,his wife follow him in covid, other not interested in boat. but also maintained people almost destroy boat. don't charge battery ,not clean boat.
i order 24 cell EVE MB31 314Ah LiFePO4 3.2V
https://www.ebay.de/itm/256565737990

https://www.aliexpress.com/item/1005...a8151802VmcmIz

I have before 4 jkbms 200A 4-8S

but I must buy 180 ah starter battery. before a couple day start, but I find charging 24v don't work 1000€ I try charging but I know this is for change

c charger 5000 series 12v 100A and 5000 series 24 30A for starting,bow thruster battery.

groco paragon psr 12 water pump.puling over 100A triggering termal fuse.
must remove and repair a motor. Siting 4 year is worst for machine. this pump is extremely expensive in EU.

this is living boat, lot light, lot space.over 200 m2 space.only problem this boat consume electric like crazy I need this winter make hard top with 6-8x 455 solar panel .first is electric, for upgrade, after this new chain 13mm and rocna vulcan 50 maybe 60 kg

I forget engine is CAT 3460E 800 hp 1800 hour. best CAT engine in history

Re: leave sailing,now i motoring.

Congratulations on your re-evaluation of your priorities and your move from sail to steam. Good luck with your health and with the time that you both have left.

We can not outrun age and diminishing health, someone once said. God Bless.

Re: leave sailing,now i motoring.

Just remember: Not everyone gets the privilege of becoming old; but, today is the oldest, you’ve ever been, and the youngest, you’ll ever be again.

Researchers, from Yale and Miami University, determined that people who saw growing older, as something positive, lived seven and a half years longer, than those who didn’t [1]; and that putting a more positive spin on our general view of aging can make a profound difference in the health of people over 65 [2].

Re: leave sailing,now i motoring.

For the Raritan toilet parts, I'm guessing spares aren't locally stocked in the EU and you have to order them? If you're happy with the toilet, I'd just get a full set of common spares to keep on hand, then when you use one, you order a replacement.

I do that with plenty of supplies (including oil change supplies) on the boat, that way I never have to buy it and need it right away, I can buy it and if it takes a few days to arrive, it's no big deal, I'm only re-stocking.

AC chiler working on battery I need, solar panel I need. 1000 small adjustment. like removing 50 A shore cable and buying 50 meter eu 32 marine cable.adjustment cable master from American heavy cable to EU 3x6 mm , fridge working on 12v,removing deep frizer from kitchen and buy dissent small EU freezer a+++ and put in toll room close to engine, change 1 fridge to draw fridge. USA hous equipment has 0 star energy efficiency
