Are there Internet access options (satellite?) these days for boats that aren't $1,000/month if you watch one Netflix movie?

get a dvd player or a hard disk full of entertainment movies,music,tv series

There is low bandwidth access for ~$140, but static images take time to download, not practical for any video.

Great for weather charts though, texting and CB-style voice comms.
