Insurance in the Bahamas?

I have a 42 ft. sail and my insurance company will cover me 100 miles off the East Coast USA. This will only take me a little past the western edge of the Bahamas. I have asked for a rider but they have declined.

Does anyone know of a company that will write a rider?

I don't want to change my insurance cause they've been very good to me so far. I want to go to the Abacos and Exumas again.

call Bill Hodgens 954 523 6867 he has an insurance agency in Ft. Lauderdale and he can get you coverage throughout the Bahamas

Change your insurance - it is nice that they are good to you but WHO DECIDES WHERE YOU ARE GOING TO SAIL AND HOW YOU ARE GOING TO LIVE YOUR LIFE - YOU OR YOUR INSURANCE COMPANY

and yes Bill Hodgens is a great guy who took great care of us for a long time and modified our policy to meet our needs not his. He is an old cruiser who has been out here.
