Info sailing west to east of the Australian bite

Hi all,
Looking at sailing from Fremantle WA to Pittwater NSW, looking for any advice and or info

There are a few threads on crossing the bight, if you do a search in this forum you will get a large amount of information. I think if you add in boat info and when you are looking at crossing it may assist. Most yachts head across later in the year, but before the easterlies make it a bash to windward.
