In February we had a half-sinking of our
Morgan 32 sailboat. We've spent the past few weeks working on the
engine and finally moved her to a new slip this week. However, as we motored we noticed the
power wasn't all that great. This particularly was noticeable when we went to
dock in gusty winds at the new slip. Part of this could be she hasn't run and still working out the some residual
engine issues, but I
recall prior to this event we have always seemed a little underpowered. We have a
Yanmar 3GMD (20 HP) engine and for the size and weight of this
Morgan, is it enough? I feel as though we need more
power...
